Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies, policies, and procedures to create a harmonious work environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and management to address workplace concerns and conflicts.
  • Mediate and resolve employee disputes, grievances, and conflicts in a fair and unbiased manner, fostering effective communication and positive outcomes.
  • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations, ensuring the organization's compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Advise HR and management on labor law matters and recommend actions.
  • Conduct thorough and confidential investigations into employee complaints, allegations, or policy violations, providing timely and objective findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, investigations, and actions taken.
  • Prepare regular reports on employee relations metrics and trends.
  • Lead Occupational Safety Hazard programs
  • Champion Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives, cross-functional collaboration with other departments and across various business units within the conglomerate


Qualifications:

  • Must be a law graduate (JD) and a passer of the Philippine Bar Examination
  • Bar Passer
  • Active Membership and Membership of Good Standing in the Philippine Bar
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee relations or a related HR function, preferably in the airline industry.
  • Prior experience in working with labor unions is an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of Philippine labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
